Got a random call from 267 and didn’t pick up. Now I’m wondering if I missed something important. Where is this area code from?
@AustinCook — 267 is the Philadelphia area code, covers Pennsylvania and some surrounding regions. I’ve gotten random calls from that prefix before, and honestly most of them weren’t important. If it was actually urgent, they’d leave a voicemail or follow up.
I’ve used Searqle to check a few suspicious numbers, and it worked pretty well for identifying whether a caller was legit or just spam. Worth running unknown numbers through it if you’re curious. The reverse lookup gives you pretty solid info on who’s behind the call.
If you can’t find anything on the number, it was likely just spam. Pretty common stuff.
