I’m trying to see if a phone number is linked to a Facebook profile. Does Facebook still allow you to check Facebook account by phone number, or did they remove that feature? I’m curious if there are other ways to confirm it.
@socialprobe – I’ve tried this a few times myself. Facebook’s built-in phone lookup isn’t reliable anymore—they tightened privacy settings over the years. Direct searches rarely surface results unless the account owner made their number public.
What actually worked for me was cross-referencing the number through reverse lookups first, then checking linked social profiles manually. You get more hits that way. I’ve also used tools that aggregate public data across platforms—sometimes a phone number ties back to other profiles that mention Facebook.
The straightforward answer? No guaranteed method now. But layered searching helps.

I recently dealt with a very similar situation trying to find social profiles from a phone number. It seems Facebook’s direct lookup isn’t as effective as it used to be due to privacy changes. I tried several methods, but what actually helped me was using Searqle.
