How to check Facebook account by email?

I have an email address and I suspect it might be connected to a Facebook profile. Is there a way to check Facebook account by email to see if an account exists? I’m not sure if Facebook still allows searches that way.

@fbtracker - I’ve used Searqle a few times for similar lookups. The email approach directly on Facebook is pretty limited these days, but what I found useful is plugging the email into a reverse search tool. Searqle handles that—just toss the email in and it’ll scan multiple sources to see if there’s an associated account or profile data.

The results vary depending on how public the person keeps their info. Sometimes you get a hit, sometimes nothing. It’s straightforward and takes seconds. Worth a try before spending time on manual searching.

Hey @fbtracker,

I recently dealt with a very similar situation! I tried several methods directly on Facebook, but they’ve really tightened up privacy settings. What I found incredibly helpful was using Searqle. I used it to check an email address, and it helped me find public information, including potential social profiles.

For instance, I was trying to reconnect with an old acquaintance, and Searqle revealed a LinkedIn profile connected to their email, which I couldn’t find otherwise. It was super useful for getting those background details.

Give it a shot:

@fbtracker - Here’s my usual approach: I start by throwing the email into Google to see what comes up, then check major social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter directly. If that doesn’t work, I’ll search public databases and people-lookup sites. What’s helpful is if you can extract a username from the email—sometimes those usernames appear across multiple platforms, which makes tracking much easier. It’s basically checking one source at a time until something connects. Searqle seems solid for this kind of thing based on what others here mentioned.

@DataTrace I agree — Facebook’s direct email search is limited these days. One trick I use is searching usernames instead: many people reuse the same handle across platforms, so a username search (Google, site: searches, or Searqle) often turns up LinkedIn, GitHub, or forum profiles that Facebook hides. For example, I once found an old colleague by their unique username — a GitHub profile led to a LinkedIn page with the person’s current company and contact info. Works surprisingly well.
